Stuck open is the one to call about
A door that will not close leaves the house open, and in most Miami homes the garage connects straight through to the kitchen. That is the call we prioritise, seven days a week, and we will talk you through securing it while we are on the way.
We will tell you if it can wait
Not everything is an emergency. If the door is shut and secure and the complaint is noise or a slow opener, we book you in normally and save you the premium. We would rather keep you than bill you once.
The van carries the common failures
Springs, cables, rollers, hinges and the usual LiftMaster boards travel with us, so most emergency calls finish on the first visit instead of turning into a parts order and a second appointment.
Fixed right or the return visit is free.
If the same problem we repaired comes back within 30 days, we come back and fix it, and the return visit is free: no charge for the trip and no charge for the labor. Parts we install carry the manufacturer's warranty.
It does not cover damage, abuse, accidents, storms or impact, or a different problem in parts we did not work on. After the 30 days, our one year labor warranty on our workmanship still applies.

What to do before we get there
The door is open and will not close
Move anything visible out of the garage, keys and remotes first. If the opener is the problem you can usually pull the red release handle and lower the door by hand, but only if it feels balanced. If it feels heavy, leave it alone: a door with a broken spring will fall.
You heard a bang like a gunshot
That is a torsion spring letting go. The door is now far too heavy to lift and the opener will strain or refuse to move it. Stop using it and do not park underneath it. Spring work needs proper winding bars, and it is the repair that injures people who attempt it themselves.
The car is trapped inside
Almost always recoverable the same day. The manual release lets us raise the door even with a dead opener or a broken spring, using the right lifting method rather than force.
After a storm
A door that took wind load can look fine and still be out of true. Watch it run once before you trust it, and have the panels and track checked before the next system comes through. Storm damage is also the case where a door most often needs replacing rather than repairing, and we will say so plainly rather than sell you a repair twice.

What counts as a garage door emergency?
A door stuck open leaves your home or business unsecured, so that is always treated as urgent. Broken springs, snapped cables, a door off its tracks, and a door that has come down on a vehicle are the other common emergencies we respond to.
Should I try to force a stuck garage door open myself?
No. If a spring or cable has failed, the door is carrying its full weight with nothing holding it. Forcing it can drop the door. Leave it where it is, keep people and vehicles clear, and call us.
Will you have the parts on the truck?
Usually yes. Our trucks carry springs, cables, rollers, hinges and common opener parts, which is why most emergency repairs finish in a single visit rather than needing a return trip.
How much does an emergency garage door repair cost?
It depends on the failure. Our published Miami repair guide puts spring replacement at $409 for one spring on a single-car door and $669 for a matched pair on a double-car door, cable repair at $359 for the pair, and off-track repair at $499 on a single-car door and $649 on a double-car door. You get an upfront price before any work starts.
